Position Responsibilities:

.               Development Engineer in the New Technology Department

.               Work on multi-disciplinary New Technologies R&D type projects which

include mechanical, electrical, optical, materials engineering and other related engineering challenges from the initial concept through the engineering stages.

.               Work will include thorough test planning, testing in laboratory and

field work environments, and test reporting.

.               Ability to learn about and identify new technologies

Requirements for Position:

.               BSE in Mechanical Engineering or related field OR BS in Applied

Physics

.               Work experience of a minimum of 3-5 years in a technical field

related to engineering or applied physics with previous experience in advanced development fields as well as production related experience an advantage. 

.               Experience with heat transfer, thermodynamics, materials science,

mechatronics, and/or materials science an advantage.

.               Ability to work with domestic and foreign consultants and vendors

.               Good English communication skills (both written and spoken).

.               The job includes significant development, testing, and field work

and demands good testing, data collection and data analysis skills.  The ability to manage small projects and work independently is required.

.               Knowledge of LabView, Matlab, etc. an advantage

.               Position requires ability to travel to various company sites as well

as to visit other companies both in Israel and abroad.
