The Position
Vision Critical is seeking an energetic leader to compliment its team of survey programming staff. Our
programming group in Toronto, Vancouver and London supports all authoring and scripting requests using
our proprietary software, SPARQ. Programmers provide advanced scripting and technical expertise to
support our clients in their market research requirements through highly engaging and interactive platforms.
As the Manager of Survey Programming in Israel, you will have overall responsibility and accountability to
build a team of programmers in Israel. You will create an environment that allows your team to provide
exceptional quality and services to other colleagues, and ensure key deliverables are met in a timely
manner. You are a strategic thinker who performs well under pressure with excellent organizational and
multi-tasking abilities. Previous online market research experience is not a requirement but is strongly
recommended.

Responsibilities
 Documenting and ensuring processes, tools and resources are in place to manage all authoring,
programming and QA needs within tight timeframes.
 Prioritizing and managing resourcing and project workloads for maximum quality and efficiency
 Overseeing team’s quality and coaching team leads to develop skill sets to guide team members to
success.
 Execute performance reviews for team members to provide feedback and goals.
 Handling special projects and acts as a consultant to provide advice in an intelligent manner given
our platform capabilities.
 Partnering with R&D to provide feedback on current platform’s performance, and future features
improvement.
 Managing team’s utilization and scalability to make sure right number of staff is in place.
 Responsible for interviewing, hiring and training new team members when necessary.

Requirements
 Minimum 5+ years working experience with Object Oriented Programming using at least one of the
following programming languages: C#, Java, C++, C, VB.Net, PHP5.
 Nice to have languages: HTML CSS, JavaScript, SQL
 Minimum 2+ years of management experience and proving ability to run a small to mid size team
successfully. (People want to follow you!)
 Completed a post-secondary diploma or degree, or has relevant business experience.
 Excellent communication skills (fluent English is a requirement)
 Ability to influence others, exploring fresh ideas and offer strategic insights.
 Excellent time management, organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
 Works well independently and in groups.
 Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and possess a high degree of tenacity.
 Market Research Industry experience or demonstrated knowledge is strongly recommended.
