automation engineer / student

Our company www.Sandvine.com is looking for an automation engineer / student.

Role summary: As a member of a R&D group of engineers in the newest Sandvine Business Unit, the candidate will be responsible for developing automation testing for Sandvine SDE.

Specific Responsibilities:
• Your duties will also include analyzing product capabilities to design, implement and prioritize testing solutions, contributing to best practices of automated test design, and debugging and fixing test failures.
• Responsibility will also include working with other R&D and QA engineers to develop test infrastructure and implement fully automated functional system and regression tests.

Required Qualifications:
• Education: B.Sc. in computer science/math, or 2nd/3rd year graduate in computer science / software engineering
• Experience: no matter, no limit.
• Excellent scripting abilities in UNIX/Linux (shell, bash, ksh and others)
• TCL – is significant advantage
• Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, SNMP, Routers)
• Knowledge in Linux/Unix Operating System
• Yearly average of 85 and above.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum 30 hours per week
