Nefesh B'Nefesh is Hiring!


 
Nefesh B'Nefesh is seeking applicants for the following positions:

1. Career Counselor:

· Work with clients in many stages of career development and the job search process.

· Work with clients to effectively increase employment opportunities.

· Guide and teach clients to develop modern and relevant job search skills, such as preparing effective résumés and cover letters, and practicing interviewing and networking techniques (including the use of social networking for job search activity).

· Participate in the job placement process, and assist clients in securing employment opportunities whenever possible.

· Responsible for one-on-one career coaching.

· Maintain client records.

· participate in in-service training sessions and in professional community programs.

Requirements:

· The ideal candidate will have an HR, or recruiting background.

· B.A. or B.S. or M.SW. degree is preferred with at least three (3) years of counseling or HR experience.

· Extensive knowledge of the Israeli market place. Candidate must have worked in Israel for at least 3 years.

· Fluent Hebrew, mother tongue English - MUST

· Excellent presentation skills. Travel is required.

· Job is full time in our Jerusalem office.

2. Pre Aliyah Advisor

The Nefesh B'Nefesh Aliyah Advisory Team is looking for an individual to answer inquiries from prospective Olim from North America about making aliyah. This includes handling inbound and outbound calls, e-mail correspondence, and maintaining a database. We also call olim during their first year of Aliyah to check in to see how they are doing.

The position is based in our Jerusalem office and the hours are 3 PM-12 AM, non negotiable.

Requirements:

· Native tongue American English

· At least 2 years of experience living in Israel

· Excellent verbal and written skills

· Excellent organizational skills

· Excellent listening and analytic skills

· Computer literate

· Customer Service and/or Call Center experience preferred

· Hebrew preferred

3. Young Couples Coordinator

Is responsible for increasing Aliyah from the North American young couples through diverse programming and contact.

Requirements:

· · Strong familiarity with the North American young couple Jewish experience, across religious and cultural denominations

· · Experience in developing original and innovative programming and executing all logistical aspects of event

· · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· · Polished public speaking ability

· · Strong technical skills and familiarity with database usage

· · Proficient in multiple platforms of social media

· · Has lived in Israel for at least 2 years

· · Position is full time and based in our Jerusalem office. Position requires extensive travel across North America (including shabbatot abroad)
