Site Manager

To delegate you to Beit Shemesh, Israel, we are looking for you as a Site Manager (m/f). In this position you will be accountable for ensuring that all aspects of the Projects success are accomplished while making the most effective use of all resources at his disposal.

Your Responsibilities:

- Creating clear and attainable site project targets
- Act as day to day Project Manager on site and representative of the Project Management towards the customer
- Manage the development of the different site specific teams and ensure that team building is in line with company interests
- With the aid of the Project Planner, coordinate the planning and identify resources needed for timely execution of the project
- Effectively apply Siemens methodology and enforce the procedures of the Siemens Process House
- Minimize our exposure and risk on the project
- Monitor, report and communicate on progress and relevant project site information to upper management
- Responsible for forecasting and reporting of project budget status to the Project Manager
- Ensure project milestones and quality gates are met
- Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
- Plan, direct, coordinate or budget, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer
- Select, contract, and oversee workers who complete specific pieces of the project on site
- Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources
- Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems
- Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site
- Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out
- Develop and implement programs, practices, and procedures to reduce the frequency and severity of accidents and protect the human, financial, and physical assets of the company and create a project wide safety culture
- Participate in hiring, directing and supervising workers, choosing contractors and monitoring supplies

Your Profile:

- University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or the like
- Additional qualification for Project Management required

- Competent in Conflict Management
- Proven experience and knowledge in planning, Change and Risk Management
- Wide knowledge of project controlling or rather understanding about basic revenue models, Profit & Loss, forecasting and cost-to-completion projections
- Competent in project management and knowledge of its theoretical and practical aspects including techniques and tools
- Wide knowledge of Personnel Management
- Fluent spoken and written skills in German and English language required
- Skills in Hebrew desirable

- Long working experience in Project Management just as well as field experience
- Great experience in Personnel Management (including people with different cultures) necessary
- Experience in formation and development of project teams required
