Business Intelligence SW Engineer
Qualcomm iSkoot is looking for an enthusiastic, self motivated, fast paced Business Intelligence Engineer for a full-time position. The ideal candidate must have in-depth experience with Data Modeling and Data Warehouse Architecture and Design. The position requires dimensional experience with MySQL and/or Oracle. Experience with Informatica, Cognos and Tableau is a plus.
The ideal candidate will reflect a mix of strong technical proficiency, application maintenance ownership, and the ability to work effectively with other business and technology personnel and internal customers to provide very responsive support to a global BI application.

Required:
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar relevant degree
· 3 or more years experience working with Data Warehouses, Data Marts and OLAP technologies
Responsibilities include:
· Complete coding and unit testing activities on-schedule and per quality expectations
· Design and develop technical solutions to a pre-defined requirement and develop components including
o Data Models
o Dashboards
o Reports
o ETL jobs
· Enhance performance in the BI environment. Tuning code, reviewing tables and applying indexes where needed
· Implement identity management and role-based privileges
· Provide technical support to internal users of BI and analytical reporting products
· Develop a cooperative environment that fosters knowledge sharing
· Provide technical guidance and mentoring to others in areas of expertise
