MarCom Web Specialist

MarCom Web Specialist (Reports to MarCom manager which reports to V.P. Sales & Marketing)

· Creating content for Vidisco’s website and web marketing efforts (texts, articles, white papers, banners etc.).

· Implementing online campaigns (SEM)

· Google Analytics regular research and implementation of changes
according to conclusions – SEO, PPC, Adwords.

· Implementing actual content into website and continuously updating it

· Supervising graphics, SEO and web outsourced suppliers of design if required

· Create input for product development and launches

· White papers, case studies and newsletters on an ongoing basis

· Optional:

o Editing manuals and updating them

o Single source documentation drive and management

Skills required:

· Outstanding commercial writing skills

· Fundamental understanding of search technology SEO/ SEM

· Innovative and creative, curious and deeply familiar with the world of Web

· At least 1 year experience in SEO/ SEM and website/ web content management

· Knowledge of using content management systems (CMS)

· BA degree, preferably in communications/marketing/journalism/public relations/English

· English mother tongue level

· Ability to research information and draw conclusions from data gathered

· HTML knowhow - a significant advantage

· Knowhow in Flash - a significant advantage

· Social media “freak” an advantage (indication of affiliation to the web)

· Other languages an advantage

· Representative, service oriented and independent “self starter”

· Optional:

o Knowhow in Technical writing software (e.g. Robohelp, Doc 2 help, MS office suite at very high level, Smart Docs)

o At least 1 year experience in technical writing

o Technical writing certificate
